FOUNDERS AND HOSTS
We are self-made with backgrounds in insurance, hospitality, teaching, travel, cleaning, cooking, and probably more that we have long forgotten.
We are now dedicated to running Villa Amalie, creating The Villa Curiel Resort, and offering people sound investment opportunities in beautiful Curaçao. We use all our experiences developed over the past 10 years, to create an amazing experience for our guests.
Laura
Our chief architect
Laura graduated with a master's in architecture from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia specializing in design and product management with extensive experience and studies in interior design. As founder and creative director of LD ESTUDIO, she created a vision being “To design experiences that are realized” and LD ESTUDIO became a multidisciplinary design studio focused on architecture and interior design and creating unique, functional, and exciting spaces.
LD ESTUDIO has implemented creative design processes based on Thinking Design and associated the process with innovation to understand the needs of their clients to realize the design they experience. And in doing so, they practice co-creation between LD ESTUDIO, the client and creative providers to ensure the delivery of the dreams designed.
